Chinese human rights lawyer Wang Yu, one of “709 lawyers”, is arrested for “disturbing public order” when visiting a dental hospital in Chengdu. The hospital said her PCR test wasn't issued from Chengdu, and refused to let her enter. Wang insisted that the fee should be refunded if she couldn’t get in. The hospital then called the police.
Wang's husband, lawyer Bao Longjun is blocked from entering the police station for 6+ hours.
At 1AM local time, she is finally released after being detained for 8 hours. The police threatened her not to release any updates.
