As a UK organisation, the 29 Principles complies with UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Act 2018.

User of the “The 29 Principles” website may be asked to submit personal data, including name and email address when subscribing to our monthly newsletter. This personal data will be kept confidential and used only in relation to the subscription of our monthly newsletter, unless legally required. It will be kept within the third party provider, MailChimp, and will not be removed or stored by staff members. All confidential personal data will not be shared with or disclosed to persons not associated with “The 29 Principles”.

The user may also be asked to submit personal data, including name, email address, and bank details, in order to donate to our work. This personal data will be kept confidential and used in relation to this donation. It will be kept within the third party providers, DonorBox, Stripe, GoFundMe, and PayPal, and will not be stored by staff members. It will not be shared with third party providers, unless legally required.

Other information, such as location and usage data, may be collected in an anonymised format. Anonymised information may be shared with funders or used to evaluated reach.
